here's a tip for those of you setting up meetings.

if a conversation goes like this:

"please save the date 11/1 at 2:00 for a meeting"

and someone replies, "i cannot make that time or that date, i have another meeting scheduled."

then you send back an email saying "it cannot be rescheduled."

that does not mean you have scheduled a meeting or that the person in question can reschedule at all.

i hate this shit. i just got this BS "riot, are you coming to road runner today?"

well, 1) the person in question cannot handle a meeting at road runner without me. she doesn't know what she is talking about. 2) just because you tell someone when a meeting is, doesn't mean she's accepted, especially when she says NO.

so now i have to figure out a way to get to this meeting while cancelling a meeting with our CIO.

i hate this shit.
