so. apparently, she wasn't mean at all. it was a phaze. you know. something you go through for a while. like for 8 years. people go through phases all the time.

if i didn't have witnesses in the form of my mother and a first grade teacher from elementary school who happened to be at my baby shower this weekend, i would think maybe i was crazy. but this girl wasn't even in miss. c's class and the woman remembered how cruel she was to other kids.

i understand that people can forget. but this isn't just sort of someone who was kind of not nice.

she pushed people down stairs. she pulled people's skirts down. she threw paint on girls who were wearing something nice. she - in kindergarden - would pull one kid aside and say "you are my special friend and now we hate kim. go spit on her." in kindergarden.

at the end of 8th grade the puerto rican girls pinned her down and threw rotten eggs at her, telling her she was a horrible person. i am sure she remembers that but probably doesn't remember that the reason they did that was because she spent 3 years tormenting s* rodriguez, who was the quietest and nicest girl in our class - but j* didn't think puerto ricans should be in the "good classes" and would make sure people knew that. so she kind of deserved it.

i am sure she turned out nice. it sounds like it from her emails.

whatever. :)
