it's hot here. and in case i haven't mentioned it. i am ready to have this baby. 10 days til the due date but who knows how long until it shows up.

cubiclegirl says it is funny to "watch" me be cooped up because i am the same person, just restricted on physical activity so my mind still does the same old riot stuff.

like. she called and i spent 20 minutes telling her how my husband went to the library and how he said it would take him an hour but i knew it would take more like 3 since he couldn't even walk there and back in an hour.

a better example though is that i figured out the other day how many extra parking spaces could be attained on our block if people just parked a bit closer to each other in more consistent patterns. i actually emailed this to people. made note of how many feet each car could move in order to maximize parking efficiencies in the neighborhood.

also. i have come up with some alternative daytime programming for our cable networks. since this is somewhat related to my job, i feel justified in continuing to be "working from home" while doing this.

i think i would be nesting today if it wasn't so damned hot. i woke up with an urge to dust off all our books. once i walked out of the A/C bedroom though, that completely fell apart. so i figured i would finish this entry from yesterday and then get back into the bedroom. maybe change the sheets. that might make me feel like i actually did something.

i went into the office yesterday. the office is heaven. i missed it. that is so sad.
