when i go back to work i will update more often. taking care of a newborn is a lot of hard work.

make no mistake. it is harder than working in an office. different skills. but much more difficult. no coffee breaks, no running out for a long lunch, no smoking breaks. just 24-7 care.

even with a super supportive spouse and two grandparents around, a nursing mom is a non-stop job.

m* is fabulous. she is adorable and smiling and sweet and cranky every night between 6 and 9. when the husband is home, he can console her. without him, it is just me dancing with her, holding her, rocking her, and feeding her. until she finally falls asleep.

it is one billion degrees here on cape cod. even here it is disgusting. i cannot imagine being in a city right now. except...we would have air conditioning if we were in a city. and we do not have it here. so it is fan after fan after fan...

bleah.
