best television day ever here.

NESN shows this "fan attic" show that is reviewer requested re-runs of great sports games - almost the whole game usually.

today it was a november 1988 bruins game versus the flyers. not only was it an exciting game with a super jay miller fight, the bruins won, and i got to see my boys neely and janney play again. it was GREAT.

the additional exciting thing was that between periods, they went to talk to JAY MILLER and LYNDON BYERS...and...THAT FUCK CHRIS NILAN. who apparently is not the worst person in the universe since jay miller hangs out with him now.

it was stupendous. they filmed it at jay miller's restaurant which happens to be about 2 miles from me. unfortunately, i have not been there this year. but it was still really cool.

they talked much of fighting and being enforcers. i have spoken to mr. miller about it in the past and i truly appreciate his take on the function of the enforcer in hockey and how he approaches it as a job that is different from the job of other players.

it was really great. except for having to see chris nilan. i got to watch it while feeding the baby. hands down, the best thing i could do while feeding her.
